Idwal cottage is also in the middle of nowhere. Bryn Gwynant and Snowdon Ranger are not quite in the middle of nowhere, but as each is about 3 miles from the nearest village with services they might not be what you want either. They are both very nice...

A tip when coming from Heathrow and you need to change from Picadilly line to Circle/District line do it at Barons Court then you can just go across the platform about 10 yards, if you wait until Earls Court, Gloucester Road, South Kensington you will...
